Writing about Fortuity brings me joy. I've loved this place since its inception. Here, art and wine intertwine seamlessly, offering a unique experience for locals & tourists visiting Ellensburg, WA. The space is chic with various seating choices and an art table where you can create your own watercolors. They offer art kits for sale, allowing you to gather friends and unleash your creativity while indulging in wine tasting.

Nuwave Gallery, owned by the incredible artist Erin Ostra, flaunts a diverse collection of outstanding art pieces curated by Erin herself and other talented artists. The gallery exudes a vibrant atmosphere under Erin's curation—a job that must be incredibly enjoyable.

The Art Wall concept at Fortuity is pretty rad. By leaving your art there, you might see it displayed and contribute to Nuwave's charitable donations. It's a cool way to give back while appreciating local artistry.

Then, there's Fortuity, owned by Emily and Lee Fergestrom. These first-time wine makers and proprietors are making a mark in the Yakima Valley. Their adventurous spirit of delving into the unknown and evolving with each step is both inspiring and commendable.

We are fortunate that they chose Ellensburg's Historic Downtown as their new home. Now firmly established, they have undeniably left their mark on our town. Regularly hosting engaging events and supporting local initiatives in Ellensburg, they have become an integral part of the flourishing community, offering a unique tourism experience in the heart of Washington State.

When three worlds serendipitously intersect and collaborate, they create an environment that beckons people to return time and time again. These three individuals have carved their unique paths, leading lives filled with passion, a thirst for knowledge, and the drive to continually improve—truly living the dream.

While I'm typically not a fan of red wines and lean towards Chardonnay, I've broadened my horizons here. One of my favorites at Fortuity is the 50/50 blend, a delightful combination of 50% Malbec and 50% Syrah. I also enjoyed their Malbec.
